Notes Under the Little Light

学校里有一个小灯。

學校裡有一個小燈。

Xuéxiào lǐ yǒu yí ge xiǎo dēng.

There is a little lamp in the school.

梅老师说：“看见小灯，就想一个人。”

梅老師說：「看見小燈，想一個人。」

Méi lǎoshī shuō: “Kànjiàn xiǎo dēng, jiù xiǎng yí ge rén.”

Teacher Mei says: “When you see the little lamp, think of someone.”

同学写几个字，给小灯。

同學寫幾個字，給小燈。

Tóngxué xiě jǐ ge zì, gěi xiǎo dēng.

The classmates write a few characters for the little lamp.

小明写：“小雨，和我吃饭吗？”

小明寫：「小雨，和我吃飯嗎？」

Xiǎo Míng xiě: “Xiǎo Yǔ, hé wǒ chīfàn ma?”

Xiao Ming writes: “Xiao Yu, will you eat with me?”

小雨写：“妈妈，回家休息吧。”

小雨寫：「媽媽，回家休息吧。」

Xiǎo Yǔ xiě: “Māma, huí jiā xiūxi ba.”

Xiao Yu writes: “Mum, come home and rest.”

梅老师看见纸，很高兴。

梅老師看見紙，很高興。

Méi lǎoshī kànjiàn zhǐ, hěn gāoxìng.

Teacher Mei sees the paper and is very happy.

晚上，小雨回家给妈妈看。

晚上，小雨回家給媽媽看。

Wǎnshang, Xiǎo Yǔ huí jiā gěi māma kàn.

That evening, Xiao Yu goes home to show Mum.

纸上有三个字：“谢谢你。”

紙上有三個字：「謝謝你。」

Zhǐ shàng yǒu sān ge zì: “Xièxie nǐ.”

The paper has three characters: “Thank you.”
